“What you need to know about our candidate is that the other candidate sucks”
Listening to an interview with one of the campaign spokespeople this morning about their candidate’s unfavorable poll numbers and the question was asked what good things about the candidate do people need to know that perhaps they aren’t seeing. The spokesperson’s response was not to say what was good about their candidate but to blame the other campaign for running attack ads. That’s right - the good thing about their own candidate is that the other candidate runs negative ads. Not a SINGLE word in the entire interview was about their own candidate’s personality, proposals, or qualifications or even why anybody should vote for him but rather was about how the other guy sucks and does too many attack ads. Your guy must really suck if the spokesperson for the campaign can’t even think of anything nice to say about him.
